The self-monitoring SILOTEC 8000 was developed for ATEX Zone 20 gas analysis in silos. Simultaneous measurement of COe and O₂ enables the detection of smoldering fires and can trigger and monitor inerting in such cases.
The system is completely maintenance-free and has an IP65 protection rating for easy installation on silo roofs.
Due to the fast in-situ measurement, there is no need to install a maintenance-intensive and slow extractive analysis system.
