The New MLT High-Protection Cell for Reducing Atmospheres and High
Sulphur Process Applications

The New OXITEC® MLT High Protection cell has been introduced as a result of the long experience in Zirconium Cell design and manufacturing technology, to measure oxygen in typically reducing atmospheres and high Sulphur process applications. The cell, similar in design to the standard KES range, has been engineered using Multi-Layer-Technology, to protect against harmful atmospheres that reduce the life time of an ordinary Zirconium Oxide measuring cell. |
The New High Protection cell can extend, dependant on
the application, its measuring life by up to ten times longer than standard cells. Due to unique cell construction the measurement accuracy when used
with OXITEC® microprocessor electronics is also enhanced
to +/- 0.5% of Oxygen reading. The new High Protection cell is available as
an Upgrade Kit to all existing OXITEC®
probes and is compatible with the Westinghouse "Standard of the Industry" model
132, 218, 218A, 225 and 240 products. The cell also has a standard two-year
no-quibble guarantee*.
